We find the books are student friendly and teacher approved. The content, vocabulary, and illustrations are all excellent. We enjoy the services we receive from our Delaney Representative, Linda Sweeney. She schedules an appointment which is convenient for me. Linda does not rush me through an order. She brings a broad selection of books to view from. She knows her material and is able to answer all my questions on the spot regarding grade level, number of pages, color photographs verses black and white etc. Linda takes the time to listen to our library needs and then provides library bound books, which are checked out from the first day we place them on the shelves.

Delaney Educational has been a lifesaver to me as a new media specialist and when I opened a new school. Veronica Evans, my Delaney representative, is phenomenal! She has helped me host events for my teachers to select books, helped me shelve all of my new books, and helped me host events for my teachers to view the new books. I could not ask for a company more helpful and easier to work with. They quickly resolve issues and take responsibility for errors. Their customer service is first rate! Rhonda Boggs Last January, 2010, when I returned from lunch and opened the library door, the library was engulfed in flames. The fire department was called and quickly extinguished the fire, but it was too late to salvage any of the books or equipment. Over 7,000 books were damaged beyond usage. I immediately called Connie, and two other sales representatives with whom I have done business over the past several years. Connie came within a couple of days bringing a whole box of books to donate to the library!! She worked with me to compile a list of items that I had purchased from your company over the past several years. Connie worked very hard to compile a list for the county meeting the requirements that I specified. The quote was for around 4900 books, with free processing, free shipping, boxed according to Dewey, and she would help put the books on the shelf! The majority of the books arrived last Wednesday in 65 different boxes. Connie was right behind the driver, with her husband and a close friend. They worked, all that afternoon, returned Thursday all day and most of the day Friday. Although Friday was the last day before Thanksgiving holidays, we worked following Monday and Tuesday to finish the job. We, well mostly Connie and her help, put the finishing labels on the books, and shelved every one of the 3600 books that arrived! I went back yesterday and installed everything in the computer. Our students will be able to check out books once again Monday morning, thanks to Connie and her helpers. There are not enough words to describe how I feel about your company and Connie. There is not any way that I could have processed all of those books and gotten them on the shelves this year, much less in less than a week. I just had to write you and tell you what a wonderful job she did, and I will continue to purchase books from Connie and Delaney. She is really a great asset to your company. Delaney is the easiest and most accommodating company I have found to work with. I tell my representative, Veronica Evans, what I am looking for and she does the research for me. She made sure our new collection was aligned to our state standards and that each content area was covered. She made opening a new media center easy. Jane Cashin Columbia High School opened its doors last year in August, and we were fearful that we would not be ready for the students on time. I certainly did not think I could afford the time for one more "sales pitch."
